You are bidding on a genuine 1971 Plymouth GTX, not a clone. A factory U-code 440 car upgraded to the optional V-code Six Pack 3x2 top end when restored. Fresh 0-mile rust-free restoration, pretty much everything new or restored. A new car for all intents and purposes. Full and complete disassembly prior to professional restoration, rebuilt, and reassembly. Very rare last-year GTX, only 2,700 built. Details as follows:

1971 Plymouth GTX, top-of-the-line muscle in 1971. Full nut-and-bolt restoration, suspension and drivetrain removed, full pro repaint in Rally Red, fresh 440 Six Pack (U-code car, have original 4v intake and carb as well), rebuilt 4.10 Sure Grip, rebuilt 727 with mild converter, all new brake system, new suspension, steering, restored Rally's, new BFG T/A's. etc. The underside of the car looks just as new. The engine bay is complete and looks as-new. Exterior and interior of car are essentially as-new.
The body is just as straight as when the car was new, and features a high-end two stage Rally Red paint job, wet sanded flat and polished. The paint quality far surpasses new. The front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed, as have the tail light assemblies. The side marker lenses and tail lamp lenses are new, the emblems have been re-chromed, and the stripes and decals are new. The rearGo Wing is new, as are the pedestals, mounting hardware, etc. The deck lid is an original Go Wing lid. The front grills are restored and in perfect condition.All the exterior stainless trim has been polished, and is in beautiful condition. The wheel lip moldings are new, as is the front tinted windshield. The balance of the glass is original and in good (although not perfect) condition. All the door weatherstrip, window felts, window wipers, rubber body bumpers, and trunk seal is new. The driver's side chrome remote mirror is new, as are the front chin spoilers. Other than minor paint blemishes from being moved about during the extensive restoration, the exterior of the car is like new. I have the original ribbedcastlower rocker moldings that ship with the car... I prefer the look without, but they are rare, valuable, and included.
The interior has also been fully restored, including a freshly-painted dash upper and lower dash, full new dash pad, restored gauge cluster, restored glove box door, new glove box liner, and restored passenger side dash insert. A new headliner and sail panels have been installed, with the balance of the interior window and bezel trim being restored as well. The kick panels are new, as is the front and rear seat upholstery. The center console is restored including a new T-handle, the carpet is new, the steering column restored, and the Tuff Wheel new as well. The original original door panels are in nearly perfect condition and have been restored, AND the car ships with a brand-new reproduction door panel set as well. New small details like window arms, re-chromed door pulls, new package tray, new pedal pads and trim, polished sill plates, etc round out the interior. The interior looks just about as good as it did when new.
The engine has been fully rebuilt, with only break-in miles, and features a new optional Six Pack intake setup, complete from air cleaner to manifold including proper lines, linkages, etc. The engine features a balanced bottom end, Street Hemi cam and kit, new ignition, rebuilt heads, ceramic coated original HP exhaust manifolds, new brackets and accessories, new belts, hoses, fasteners, etc. The cooling system has been fully rebuilt including the radiator, new heater core, and new water pump. Of course the engine was fully painted and detailed, as well as the engine bay having been fully painted and detailed. New fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, and fuel hoses. New generator, water pump, power brake booster, power steering pump, and brakes lines. Rebuilt suspension including torsion bars, shock absorbers, tie rod ends, bushings, bolts, etc. New, new, new. The rear end is fully rebuilt with a 4.10 Sure Grip center section. The dual exhaust system is also new, and the car will ship with the correct GTX exhaust tips and tail pipes in place.

The original color was Winchester Gray prior to the full restoration; a very rare color, but arguably not as nice-looking as the gorgeous Rally Red. I have the original fender tag that ships with the car.

The title is clear and in hand, and matches the VIN exactly for export, inspection, etc. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; that said, I own a restoration shop and have a great broker who moves a few cars a month for me. I can put you in touch.

$43,500.00 is the price. It would cost you double to restore one to this level after finding and buying one. Only around 2,700 GTX's shipped in 1971, as rare as a '67 Shelby GT500. Last year of the GTX as a dedicated performance model... it became a trim option on a Satellite after 1971.
